Preclick Corporation today announced the availability of CD-Viewer and Photo Organizer software, built with HP's industry-leading imaging and printing technology, for retailers, peripheral manufacturers and online service providers.
Licensees can customize, brand and distribute software copies to customers, enhancing home digital photography.Adorama, the nation's #2 mail-order photo retailer, announced today it will distribute the Preclick-powered Photo Organizer software with orders and at its photo-sharing site, www.adoramapix.com. "Since 2002, we've offered Preclick software that helps customers switch to digital," said Herman Klein, Adorama PhotoLab manager. "It's so simple, customers love it. With HP imaging and printing technology, we can offer customers the best home printing experience.
While they still print with Adorama, we anticipate additional home printing sales, including HP printers, photo paper and ink."Developed by Preclick in 2004, the new software comes in two editions: CD-Viewer and Desktop Software. All versions include leading-edge HP technology, such as adaptive lighting, which automatically adjusts high-contrast photos to bring faces out of shadows and details out of backgrounds. HP technology also lets users print borderless 4x6-inch photos in just one click.
